The Chicago Industrial Arts & Design Center (CIADC) Youth Pathways Program is an educational series that exposes Students to hands-on, industrial arts and nurtures interests that can lead to post-secondary pathway opportunities in STEM, Trade, and Art/Design.
Themed Camps to engage and guide projects
New Students will choose from pre-determined projects within the theme that focus on fundamental skills and processes of the Department
Returning Students can design independent project(s) that fit the theme using the tools introduced in Class, with instructor guidance
All Students will complete a project and gain a better understanding of the processes involved with making objects and how this relates to STEM, Trade, and Art/Design fields
