Ages: 16+
New Students will work on guided 2-axis and 2.5-axis projects while gaining the fundamental CNC workflow skills of computer aided design (CAD), tool paths (CAM), CNC machine operation, project assembly, and finishing. Returning Students will further their skillsets through personal CNC projects with instructor guidance.
Note: No experience required. Attendance in the first session is mandatory for New Students. Natural fiber clothing, long pants, and closed-toe shoes are required while working at CIADC. Project material and machining fees are not included and can be purchased at CIADC. Total material cost for beginning project is approximately $20-$30.
