Opening Day is almost here! We're so excited to get people into the shop and creating. Before we open our doors on May 11th we could use some help. This Friday, May 8th, from 10am–3pm the wood shop needs volunteers to help build some shelves and racks. And we need help with general getting-everything-ready tasks this Saturday, May 9th. Speaking of Opening Day, don't forget that we're having an official ribbon cutting ceremony & open house on May 11th from 10am–12pm. Staff, community leaders, local businesses, and representatives from City of Chicago Wards 40, 48, 49 and 50 will be on-site to welcome CIADC to Rogers Park.
